Winona Mae Hudson, age 95, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Marion County Nursing Home, in Yellville. Winona was born to the late Joe L. and Mettie Florence (Keeter) Blankenship on April 14, 1917 in Eros, Arkansas. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a homemaker, and was Church of Christ by religion.

She is survived by her son, Paul Hudson of Yellville, Arkansas;

her daughter, Charlotte Milum, of Harrison, Arkansas;

four grandchildren;

six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Roy, in 1973; and her sister, Chorean Weeks and two brothers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hudson will be Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Burns Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Rotenberry officiating.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time on Saturday.

Interment will follow at Layton Cemetery in Yellville.

Pallbearers will be Jim Milum, Jim Keeter, Jim Milligan, Steve Jones, Matt Purdome, and John Purdome.
