Elmo Tilley, age 81, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Gassville Therapy and Living in Gassville, Arkansas.

He was born October 10, 1930 in Rea Valley, Arkansas to Jack and Mirla Ethel (Vickers)Tilley. He had been employed in construction; was a member of Gassville Baptist Church, and was a Mason.

Elmo is survived by his wife, Barbara (Lynch) Tilley;

three sons: Ronnie Tilley and wife, Sue, of Greenbrier, Arkansas; Randy Tilly of Cotter, Arkansas; and Roger Tilley and wife, Kim, of Fairview, Arkansas;

one brother, Nemo Tilley of Flippin, Arkansas;

two sisters: Lorene Hall of Yellville, Arkansas; and Reola Arms of Blue Springs, Missouri;

five grandchildren;

and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Marie Tilley, in 2001; and by two granddaughters.

Visitation for Mr. Tilley will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Burns Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Gassville Baptist Church in Gassville, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Wise officiating.

Interment will follow at Gassville Cemetery in Gassville.
